I am new to shooting and looking for the cheapest buy for 9mm Ammo for target/Range use. I am currently shooting between 300-700 rounds per week.

Can anyone help or point me in the right direction.

Thanks.

Up to 700 rounds a week? Ever considered becoming new to reloading too? :D

But back to business:

Natchez has CCI Blazer Brass for $8.99 per 50 ($180 a case = 1000 rounds)
http://www.natchezss.com/product.cfm?contentID=productDetail&prodID=CC5200

Ammoman has 1,000 round cases for $199 (which includes shipping FYI)
http://www.ammoman.com/webstore_9mm.htm

Also check your local WalMart - they usually have good prices on ammo (Blazer brass or WWB)

FYI - I don't own a 9mm, so I couldn't tell you how good of a deal these prices are. I shoot .45ACP and all I know is it looks cheap to me! :D However I usually buy at WalMart, as they seem to have a better deal than online stores - especially after shipping (again - for .45)

WALMART Winchester "value pak" 15.99/100 (Not white box)

Academy Sporting Goods (if you have them) Winchester white box $8.2x/50, Remington 25O pak was $44 and Academy's "Monarch" brand $7.79? /50

All of these are 115gr, brass, FMJ

BETTER HURRY prices are going up faster than gasoline.

hey im from concord!

anyway, i go to wal mart use moms 10% discount when i can and i hit up dicks sporting goods they give a military discount and even without it they give a pretty good price on the ultramax which is mostly all i buy from tyhem, unless of course they have a special going on umc which happens quite often. the cool thing about Charlotte and the surrounding area is there is like 3 dicks within 30 minutes of you. when i am home on leave i normally hit em all and buy em out of all the .40s&w.

Best deals I found when I shot 9mm was the UMC sale at Dicks that possum mentioned and Blazer Brass from WM otherwise.

Wideners has 9mm Blazer for $7.20 per 50 rounds.
Not reload-able, but the cleanest burning ammo you can use.

If you have an Academy near you, I have found them to have the best prices of CCI Blazer aluminum. I have put about 10000 rounds through my Glock 19 without any problems. I also buy the Wally World CCI Blazer Brass from time to time, but the aluminum stuff from Academy is only $6.99 per 50 round box here, or it was the last time a bought some a few months ago. Oops, just checked online, and it is now $7.99 per box. I recently bought CCI Blazer Brass from Wal Mart for $7.89 per box. Sounds like about $8.00 per box is about as good as you are going to do. I am going to stock up this evening.

If you're shooting anywhere near the amount you've stated, the only economical choice for you is producing your own ammunition.....

I highly recommend reloading. I just bought a 9mm and I'm going to start reloading for it shortly. I have been shooting for about a year & reloading for about 6 months, I love it. I've been buying the 100 round boxes from wally world also & saving the brass to reload.

+2 on reloading. I don't, but decades ago I did and did it a lot. Nowadays, I shoot just a hundred rounds a week, so I can still afford to have someone else reload my brass. Plus the fact that my wife screams about spent primers all over the garage floor every time I bring the subject up. She's been intimidating me like that for fifty two years now.

You might want to check out Georgia Arms. I started out shooting their .308 Win, and then their .308 match ammo. Their match ammo rivals Federal Gold Match and Black Hills Match for accuracy in my AR-based DPMS-1/2 MOA! I then tried their 9mm, and their .40 S&W. I'll pick up some .45 for the new family addition at the gunshow in a couple of weeks. Nearly 7k rounds of their ammo through my weapons and never a failure due to the ammo.
