I am thinking about getting one for a secondary press, it looks pretty decent. What do you think of yours?

Thanks

I have one, and love it.

I own about 6 extra turrets for it, with dies already in them, so I don't need to constantly screw dies in and out.

extra turrets are kind of expensive, though. I keep an eye on midwayusa to see when they go on sale for $30. They are normally $34.99. They may be cheaper at other places.

I have one also, and it's very solid. The only thing I don't like is the primer feed system. For me, it is totally useless, dumping primers all over the floor at odd moments. Unlike the system used on the old Spar-T, the primer tube goes around with the turret -- and that ain't good. My solution was to get an RCBS hand primer. Overall, much faster and a better feel for seating primers accurately.

I too have several spare turrets.

That said, I also have a Lee classic turret press, which I use much more often. If I could have only one, it would be the Lee.

I have one also. I've never owned a single stage and I can't imagine not having the turret. I am extremely happy with it. 4 seperate turrets for the calibers I load. Ditto on the primer feed system, I replaced it with Autoprime II's and Ram Primes.

I have 2 and no desire to change. Agree about the troublesome priming system.
I use an RCBS bench primer, but have recently added Lee top of stroke priming to both presses. It's still a separate operation but works for me.

I have a Lyman T-Mag Turret Press II with two Turret heads in beautiful shape. That I am willing to part with for $120.oo plus shipping. I do not have the primer part as has been mentioned that they do not work too well. And I also prefer to use the hand held RCBS Primer Tool so I can feel the primer seat. But then again even if the primer part works on any press I still prefer to use the hand held unit. :)

So you can save a bit here. The T-Mag is $134.99 and a Turret is another $36.99 comes to $171.98 plus shipping. So you can save $51.98.

I too have a Lyman turret press that I use for low volume reloading, as above get a hand primer and extra turrets. FWIW I prefer the RCBS powder measure over the Lyman for .17’s and .22’s (if you were thinking of ordering the kit).
