Here are a few I've drawn.

The first is a BHP.

Those two BHP drawings are top notch! I am very impressed. I hope you use your talents in your work and are not letting them be wasted.

Very Nice!!! I wish I had that kind of talent! Have you ever considered selling any of those? I bet people would be willing to pay for a still life of their fave pistol/revolver/rifle.

Wow,

Nice very nice. Take some to gun shows, see if you'd get offers. Maybe expand to different guns. revolvers rifels etc. How long does it take you to produce something like that? What about conceptual work?

You could start a small online business drawing people's favorite guns. My wife's mother in Wales draws pictures of Springer Spaniels for the owners. We are going to have her draw us a pic of our Springer and our Britteny. She used to make a lot of money that way. In America, people don't seem to have as much adoration for their pets but they DO love their guns!:D

"In America, people don't seem to have as much adoration for their pets ..."

You've got to be kidding, firestar! Almost every dog owner I know loves their dogs and would literally kill to protect them if necessary. I know of at least two of us who fall into that category here on THR. One of my dogs was Miss November on the Bearded Collie Calendar for 1994. :)

But we digress.

Well, I work in a toll booth for part of my job. On the days I'm in there, I usually print out a few pics to work from, take my drawing pad, and when I'm not helping someone, I draw. I can usually get one done in 2-4 hours, depending on how hard it is to draw, and if I'm "in my groove."

What kind of conceptual work are you referring to? I do little drawings of accessories/packages/etc. for guns just for fun sometimes. The hardest part of that is coming up with good ideas and to be original.

I'm glad you guys like 'em. Does anyone else draw guns?

Anyone have any requests for the next time I'm "in the booth?"

Cheers,
Wes

No, but I paint them from time to time. It's good to see drawings, probably for the same reason it's good to see black and white photographs: they're just not as common as they used to be, sad to say.

Nice drawings! (and painting, Standing Wolf)

I could post some of my failed attempts at drawing guns, but no one would want to see my mangled Beretta 92 drawing or completely-out-of-proportion Glock 26.

If you're taking requests, I would like to see an HK P7M8!
