Does anyone use Winchester WST in their .45 Colt reloads ?None of my load manuals list any data for this propellant in .45 Colt ,I usually load 250 gr. RNFP bullets .A friend gave me a container and I have no data ,any help appreciated .

It is excellent in .45 ACP, but I have not tried it in .45 Colt. I prefer the bulkier slow powders for light .45 Colt loads and would not use a fast powder at all for heavy loads. It will probably work, but you are in unchartered territory.

Winchester .45 Colt data page. No WST (http://www.wwpowder.com/data/handgun/45colt.php)

Speer 13th Edition Manual also had no data for WST in .45 Colt. Since the .45 Colt has a much larger case capacity than the .45acp, you can probably safely use .45acp loads in your .45 Colt. For example, the max load for a 200gr lead bullet in .45acp is 5.1gr WST. The max load for 230gr lead round nose in .45acp is 4.5gr. WST.
