Swat challenge on ESPN?

Anyone catch the SWAT challenge on ESPN the other day? Especially the part described below?
I happened to catch a small segment that was kinda interesting. They did a demonstration with a rep for point blank body armor to where he shot a vest with a couple different rounds. Well as he was describing what they were going to do he said they were going to shoot it with a couple rounds one normal and one ARMOR piercing! -DOH They even showed him holding the round and it was nothing special. I wonder if he was trying to elude to it being some sort of teflon coated "cop killer" round or some sort? Now I know there is the new FN round that is like a .223 or similer for their new pistol -but this wasn't it.
Anyway I am really thinking of writing them an e-mail and calling them on this BS. Yeah they have a great product that is saving lives of our service men and LEO's but this doesn't do alot for the already BS about guns and what they can do.

I am not a very good writer but the more I though about this the more I had to say something so I wrote and e-mailed them the letter below. Guess I will see if I get a response and I will let you know if so?

To whom it may concern at Point Blank Inc.
I would like to call your attention some misleading information I happened to see about guns and your product and their representation in general. The incident I am speaking of was the National SWAT challenge as aired this past weekend on ESPN. On one segment a representative of your company did a demonstration of body armor by shooting a vest. Before this demonstration he sated that they were going to shoot it with a couple different rounds , one normal and one "Armor Piercing". They showed a close-up of these rounds before doing so.
Almost everyone in the industry knows there is no such thing as an coated or armor piercing handgun round or so called "cop killer" bullet, or atlest certainly not what was shown. (yes there are newer rifle caliber pistol rounds like the newer FN, but these are not publicly available or common) The whole hype about teflon coated or any other type of "special" bullet being able to penetrate body armor is bunk and is only propagated to serve the purpose of anti-gun activists and politicians. I would like to state that this was a very misleading and dishonest segment and tactic used by your company or its representative.
I fully support the great life saving technology and product you have as well as almost all of the pro-gun community. However I cannot be supportive of Point Blanks misrepresentation of what guns are and are not capable of on the backs of law abiding civilian gun owners and their rights. It does nothing to help promote your integrity and only serves to harm the pro-gun community and Second Amendment rights we have remaining in this country.
Thank you for your time

The vest was a First Choice Body Armor, not Point Blank!
I have apologized to Point Blank and pointed out that it is very confusing since they are listed on the SWAT competitions website as a sponser!

I only caught the last 10 minutes of the program. Like other shows on cable, I'm looking forward to a rerun....
