I've been given the task of cleaning and cataloging my father-in-law's rifles and shotguns. I am looking for help to ID the model name/number on one Rossi shotgun that doesn't have it stamped.
I couldn't find any internet listing of old Rossi shotguns to compare it to either. The only references I could find were to a generic "single shot shotgun".
There is no model or guage listed anywhere. It is a single shot, break style, hammerless shotgun. Judging by the bore size, it is a .410. The break lever is on the top at the rear of the receiver.
Left side says "Amadeo Rossi & CIA" as well as "Firearms Int'l Corp Washington, D.C.". Right side says "Made in Brazil" and "S.Leopoldo R.G. Sul."
I don't know how old it is, but I'd guess somewhere between 1967 and 1970.
If you need more pictuers, just let me know. Any help or direction would be appreciated.
