Here is the link to a good article about Bushmaster Firearms and their endorsement of the gun maker anti-lawsuit bill (forgot the bill number) which is going to the Senate (the House already passed the bill).

http://www.pressherald.com/news/local/030728bushmaster.shtml

Also, vote (to kick the anti-gunners in the nuts) on the online poll! :fire:

"My brother was killed by the snipers, who got their assault rifle from a gun dealer who told police he 'lost' the gun," read a statement by Vickie Snyder. Snyder's brother, James L. "Sonny" Buchanan Jr., was shot in the back Oct. 3 while he was mowing his lawn. "And the Senate is considering protecting the gun dealer instead of protecting my rights"

wait a minute. 1st off the dealer who lost the gun is to blame for the missing gun. but that is between them and the BATF.

2nd i pity the woman because his brother was killed but how does suing bushmaster resolve the problem? his brothers is still dead. it sounds like greed an emotions overuling common sense. but still how are her rights being violated?

frivolous lawsuits are ruining this country. until people are held accountable for there actions it will only make it easier for us to be governed by thoses who "Know better".

The poll's question is worded very well. The follow-up question should be: Should society as a whole be punished for creating criminals?

Good for Bushy! This sounds like the Kali "Saturday Night Specials" suits of the past, desingned to pick off the gunmakers one by one so I hope that Bushy wins in a big way. :D

It would serve these anti bastards right though if they succeeded in making it unprofitable to sell legal guns, thus driving the entire gunmaking industry undergound! Imagine some guy setting up a "preban Colt" factory in the Bahamas, complete with fake serial numbers and you could see what would be the logical end of unintended consequences. . (I would bet that you will start seeing this within a few years in Kanada, though they will probably specialize in Moose rifles or something else purely Kanadian.) :uhoh:

It has long been a truism that if you don't give citizens a legal way to buy needed articles they will find an illegal way:scrutiny:
