Can someone direct me to reference material on the WWII Liberator shotgun? Have not been able to find much in the way of years of production, production figures, current valuation, etc. Any info greatly appreciated.

I believe they were made in the Philippines from welded pipe and other handmade components. Very dangerous to use, but they worked. I don't think there was any official production of these or any consistency amongst them, just an improvised firearm. The Liberator pistols from the US were a mass-produced item made from stampings, a very different animal.

Thanks for the info. Mine is the US made Richardson and is in better condition than the one in the thumbnails.
