Nomad101bc January 13, 2008, 11:46 PM Interesting; though i dont think we need to require a license for a constitutional right. Winchester 73 January 13, 2008, 11:54 PM Jackie Mason was almost beaten to death during a vicious attack on Miami Beach in the 1980's. He has become the classic Liberal ,who has just been mugged, turned into a Conservative ever since. george29 January 15, 2008, 02:43 PM Jackie Mason was almost beaten to death during a vicious attack on Miami Beach in the 1980's. He has become the classic Liberal ,who has just been mugged, turned into a Conservative ever since. Well that's one way to become a conservative liberal, some people just need some sense knocked into them and I personally couldn't care if he is still in the liberal camp, in fact, I prefer it, as he is the perfect advocate for our cause. In case you didn't understand politics, a Liberal makes better war because he has both the Liberal and Conservative support. Jackie Mason is therefore a perfect advocate for the pro 2A side. Think about it. biggiesmalls January 15, 2008, 09:26 PM haha you should see him talk about all the prez candidates. he rips on everyone except the couple who already dropped out. george29 January 16, 2008, 07:25 PM I dislike his opinion on Ron Paul but he more than makes up for his being a Liberal by his pro 2A stance. doc2rn January 16, 2008, 07:42 PM I really think he hit the nail on the head, when he said the politicians really dont care about your safety, just the rules that should make us safe but dont. TexasRifleman January 16, 2008, 08:41 PM If the actual statistic isn't astounding enough, your argument isn't worth mentioning. He's a stand up comedian by trade, exaggeration is pretty much how that job works. And he's funny as hell when he's doing his schtick. TexasRifleman January 16, 2008, 08:43 PM OK someone wanna explain that? I quoted from a post that was made an hour after I quoted from it? :) How did I quote from the post below me... this server needs an enema. Kind of Blued January 16, 2008, 09:17 PM When you are trying to convince somebody of something and you exaggerate, you are either making yourself sound stupid, lying to them, or both. He said something to the effect of millions of people dying every day (while talking about how gun control doesn't work). Just don't do it. Look it up... get a legit statistic. Its that easy. If the actual statistic isn't astounding enough, your argument isn't worth mentioning.
