10 mm DE - more questions

What is a good online source for mags for 10mm Colt DE? (web address appreciated). What brands are recommended or to be avoided?
Still having the problem where the slide locks back on mags that aren't empty, so it's going back to the gun smith. Anyone have any ideas or tips on this? (PS: I know I am not riding the slide stop with my thumb).

8 round, round metal follower, welded base. Avoid 9 round mags.

So far I have been pleased with Tripp's 9 rounders (and their 10 rounders but they stick out a might)

but they are pricey @ $44/copy
I also have had very good results with Chip McCormick .45 cal Power Mags which can be had for less than $20

A question: how hard is it to seat the Tripp 9-rounders in the gun when they are fully loaded? I know the CMC 9-rounders are a beast to seat when fully loaded.

they are easier than the CMCs but still require a good smack, I am hoping as the spring wears in a bit, it will get easier

AndABeer:
Do Tripp's 9-rounders w/ base pad fit the same as a CMC w/ base pad? (IOW, are they about equal in length?) How would Tripp's 9-rounders fit a DE with a mag well? Thanks. :)

the Tripp ones have quite a bit of flare out as you can see, and I guess that this might conflict with some mag wells
as far as how they compare with the CMCs with bump pads, I'd have to say that the Tripps are about an 1/8" shorter, Power Mags for comparison are shorter still

There is really no reason to buy Colt Delta Elite magazines instead of the generally much cheaper Metalforms, since they are functionally identical aside from the removable base instead of welded on the Colt mag. For some reason the Colt-marked Delta mags are really expensive... I've seen them for as much as $45.

Thanks! (I take it the ones in your pics above are of Tripp's 9-rounders - not the 10-rounders?).

I bought Colt Delta mags at the gun shows for ~ $30. There is a guy called Accur-Tune who sells them for ~$34 in the package.
The nicest mag I've got is a Colt marked mag with the Delta Triangle logo on the floorplate. Also, the ponies on the other mags dress up the pistol, in my view.
