Just installed a conversion kit on my 1911 for the 460 rowland. It is just as reads a drop in kit. Will be ordering ammo this week.Plan to hunt with it next season when taking grandchildren so I dont have to carry a rifle. So far have not heard anything but good about this conversion but wish ammo was avalable at gun shop .

Let me know how she shoots.
Don't forget to post a pic of yours. I'll throw a snapshot of mine in for grins.
A couple of things you might want to know...don't try loading those copper plated bullets and run them at 1500+ fps they WILL spit at you :p
You might want to check your lug engagement to make sure you have full lock up or close to full lock up. If it is not good you will end up with some battered lugs. Just make sure you keep an eye on them after every time you shoot it.
The recoil does bite a bit with full power loads, it pushes straight back. The compensator really works.
It is absolutely amazing the power you get from this kit. It really "wakes up the beast" in the 1911. I had to fit mine a little to the frame as the barrel hood comes a bit long for fitting.
