Has anyone seen any Rossi 88's (stainless) that have been shot with +p ammo? The owners manual directly states not to use +p ammo. The manual is generic for many models and does not list the 88 on the cover. I am inclined to think that the stainless would be stronger. I would like to hear anyones experienced opinions. Thanks.

Nothing about Stainless makes it any stronger then Carbon steel.
The 88 is sort of a copy of a S&W J-frame, and probably isn't as strong.
As for +P, I doubt a limited amount of it would hurt anything. But like the older J-frame S&W's, a steady diet of +P will tend to loosen them up faster then standard pressure ammo.
I would shoot standard ammo for practice and carry +P if that makes you feel better.

Thanks for the input.
My Rossi 88 locks up very tight. It has much tighter tolerances than my Ruger SP101.
Has anyone worked on or had a Rossi with +p run through it, good or bad?
