The new Ten II Poly Kimbers, do they fit regular 1911 holsters?

I have one of the original polymer Kimbers (BUL frame). The dustcover and trigger guard are different, and it requires its own holsters. (great gun BTW)

Does the new poly Kimber fit regular 1911 holsters? Especially kydex? Is the dustcover and trigger guard the same size?

Aren't those Poly Kimbers using a proprietary mag? As I recall, they do & therefore aren't compatible w/ standard 1911 mags :)

I too, have the kimber with the bul frame. It took me awhile to find a duty holster for it. The Safariland 6280 for the Glock 34/35 works pretty good.
It is my understanding that the new ones will fit standard 1911 holsters. Bul has changed the frames they produce as well. Kimber hi-cap mags have come down in price too. Around 75 bucks now. 13 round leo mags around 30 bucks.

10 Ring, they use double stack 14 round mags.

I have a Rosen that I use for concealment (made specifically for the BUL frame) and I have a G-Code Kydex Sig 226 that I modified to work as well, though it isn't a very good fit.

I like my first one so much that I was giving some thought to standardizing on this type of 1911 for serious use (as opposed to my single stacks) and getting some spares. If the new Kimber fits regular 1911 holsters them I'm set because I can use my favorite holster of all time, my G-Code paddle. (best holster ever.) :p

You can get an aftermarket mag release for around $20 bucks that allows you to use the cheaper Para Ord 14 round mags too. Cant remember the site. Think its here (http://www.rescomp.co.za/) where you can get the releases.
