No, they are separate forums. Although The Firing Line and The High Road do have a close history.
From what I can gather, TFL was in existence first. Apparently, the guy that owned TFL (the same guy that owns SWAT magazine, Rich Lucibella (did I spell that right?) had decided to shut down. The members of TFL migrated to THR (which was started and is owned by Oleg Volk, a member of TFL) and then TFL was later reopened, and they got more members. Many members belong to both forums, and some of us migrate back and forth when one or the other site goes down. Both sites are very similar, though each has its own unique flavor. Both of the site owners are great guys, and both contribute greatly to the gun culture.
The sites also share a joint library, too. And when one goes down, you will find messages posted on the other inquiring about the status of the down site.
I'm proud to be a member of both, just wish I could contribute to both equally. Unfortunatly, THR and APS, plus the several blogs that I read, take up most of my internet time that I have to spare...
