Before parkerizing do you sandblast just the exterior, or the internals also?

Just the exterior where I want my park finish. I degrease the pieces as well as I can. Masking tape works wonders to protect the internals while blasting, I also use rubber stoppers for barrels.

I blasted inside and out when doing a 1911 recently.

I only bast external parts. I tape off hammers so I don't bead blast the notches.- why spend all that time stoning to get a smooth finish and turn around and bead blast it? I also use rubber plugs in barrels.
