Just a quick one to say howdy. I was a devoted lurker on TFL and I've got THR bookmarked so I figured I ought to actually contribute something. Thought I would get the ball rolling with a few pix of the 'family'. It's an 870P with 18" barrel and Hogue overmold short stock, a bone stock Glock 21 in .45 acp, an Eagle fanny pack/holster (quite tactical), a SOG Vision folder and my trusty Spyderco Native. My setup is a long way from complete but it's getting there. Anyway, enjoy! Oh, and if anyone's got questions, fire away - I love talking about my family!

I hope the pix work, my technical support staff (a.k.a. Wife) went to bed already. :(

Welcome to THR. I find myself getting more information here than giving, there are lots of knowledgeable folks here.

Looks like you have a nice little family there. I can tell you that you can post multiple pics and have them show up right in your post instead of an attachement if you have a place on the web to store the pictures. If your internet provider gives you web space as most do you can upload your pictures there and then point to them using the IMG button above. You can look in the Tech Support section for lots of post about different ways to post pics and attachements, might have to look back farther than the default 5 days to find them.

It's a 50 round bandolier & depending on what load, I'd say about 5 lbs. It's not too bad once you get used to it. I wish it had a loop though so I could run my belt through it. It might help prevent the lo-trou. Now there's a money-maker :p

What about suspenders to help keep the trousers up?

Hey - what about suspenders with shotgun shell loops on 'em? Black, of course... now THAT would be TACTICAL!!!

Nice stuff. Note that 1 1/8 oz loads will give you a weight of closer to 10 lbs for 50 rounds.

Instead of using that like a belt, try it over one shoulder bandito style.

Really nice shotgun there. I have a Winchester 1300 Defender, and two Ithaca 37 Military and Police, but no Remngton 870 Police.

Why the diff colored shells on the bandolier...different brands?

I was getting ready to head out to the range and was trying a number of different loads. Since the gun is relatively new & I'm still working out the little kinks with the different loads. Right now, I've only got about 800 rounds through it - She still has quite a ways to go before she earns the 'home defense badge'.
