I'm looking to relocate to Arizona, though I'm not sure where to look. I like warm weather, so I'm thinking somewhere relatively close to Phoenix.
I currently work in the IT field, so if I stay in this career, I may have to work in an urban area. However, I am open to switching careers.
What would be ideal, I think, would be a plot of land at least 10 acres in size, where horses are allowed. A relatively rural area. Cheap would be nice. I don't want to pay more than $250,000, though I'd prefer to pay stay around $150,000.
With this budget, how close can I get to Phoenix? I think I'd like a house at least 2000 square feet in size. Recommendations anyone?
Obviously, a pro-gun environment is necessary. :)
