I am NOT a revolver expert so thought I would seek some advice from all of you.
I am looking for a 5 shot .38 from S&W and found a M36 in a local pawn shop today. The little gun has seen better days but has some caracter and I don't mind that. What I need to know is what is the 36 value range is. This gun is probably 70% and the asking price is $275.
Thanks

Seems about right, as long as it's not in too bad of shape. If lockup is not tight then I would pass on it. To check this, make sure gun is unloaded..close cylinder, cock hammer and try to move cylinder from side to side for each of the 5 chambers. Should be the slightest of movement, any more and I would pass. Hope this helps.

In my opinion, that is way too high for a 70% revolver. I picked up a nice square butt 36 about two months ago roughly 90% for $250.

I really like the pinned ones as they seem to have the best trigger pull. The price seems about right.

After hearing of the good luck Dale and Micky have had I think I will let this one pass.
Will have to keep looking.
