today i killed a cowhorn buck from 391 yds(range finder) with my tikkia t3 .308, went in the shoulder blade and out the other and dropped dead in his tracks :D
ammo was blackhills 168 gr hollowpoint match :D
edit: i'm so glad i chose this gun over the vanguard sub-moa i was looking at, this gun constantly does 1/2 moa or less with a good rest and it's very light weight(almost feels cheap chinesy but the accuracy isn't something you can argue with and at the price i don't feel bad hiking through rough terrain with it)

Don't forget the incredible smoothness of the action! Wish I still had my Tikka. It was a 7mm-08. They are incredibly nice for the price. Good shooting. Did you see evidence of good expansion in the wound channel with that BTHPM?

it actually passed all the way through him even at that distance it left a hole about 3-4 inches in diameter on his other side, it wasn't devistation like the hornady TAP's i've shot but i'd rather shoot a super accurate fmj/matchkingHP and be guaranteed better shot placement than a less than half as accurate super expanding softpoint etc etc

Just ordered a Tikka in a 7mm mag, can't wait. Congrats on a fine shot.

Great shooting. Other words you would recommend a Tikka to someone looking to pick up another rifle for deer?
