I purchased a Ranger Compact at a great price. Problem is my 6' frame doesn't like the stock that short. I ordered a Hogue OM with full aluminum block. The stock screws from the RC are not long enough. I have the screw set from Brownell's on order to fix that problem, hopefully. Will they?

Has anyone ever glassed the OM stock. I'm thinking glassing around the recoil lug among other places will keep everything properly positioned. Has anyone done this with the aluminum block stocks from Hogue or other manufacturers that can give advise on what to use and any prep differences over wood stocks.
