Oh! Kanada:
Open Letter To The Sierra Times
By Peter Wilson

Dear MammaSierra,
This is an open letter to all Sierra Times subscribers and freedom minded individuals.
I'm a newcomer to your site. What I find refreshing is the pride and honor of being an American that radiates from each of you.

Your sense of who you are is difinitive and unbreachable. The blood of American patriots has truly nurished the roots of freedom that protects you all today.

If you, as a nation or as individuals, wish to enjoy those precious freedoms and protect them for future generations, I urge you to heed my warning.

Complacency is your greatest enemy. The status quo. Vigilance must never be detered. There are those among you who do not share the same vision of a free America as you. One of the greatest threat to your freedom is centralized federal power.

I know of what I speak because this has happened to my once proud country--Canada ,your northern cousin.

We too thought that our freedoms were unassailable. We became complacent and smug. Then ,one by one , our freedoms began to erode. The architects of our own demise posed as special interest groups , feminists ,socialist ,centralist etc.

While we sat back and enjoyed our television and our bar b.q. and our saturday night hockey , these nefarious groups were hard at work re-engineering the social fabric of our society. Then one day it was too late.

Family values, church, freedom of speech, private property were all a thing of the past.

Now we can be proud of our achievements: Gay marriages, legalized pot laws, feminism gone askew, courts that punish the law abiding and reward the guilty. Treating citizens differently before the law--a true mockery of justice. Disparity between the provinces, causing dissention between east and west. Centralizing power into the hands of a few corrupt politicians determined not to relinquish their new despotic authority.

Finally, disarming the predominately male sport shooting groups with new draconian laws that make firearm ownership extremely difficult if not impossible. All in the name of safety. Does this sound familiar? For the first time in Canadian history a man could go to federal prison for up to TEN years for NOT doing something.i.e. not registering his duck gun. On July the first of this year, nearly half a million men became instant felons for not doing so.

Under this despotic law, the police can now enter any home, where a firearm is registered, WITHOUT warrant. Deprive you the right to counsel. Order you, under penalty of law, not to remain silent. Confiscate your lawful property without compensation......and on , and on, and on.... Just to name a few of our lost rights under Bill C-68.

We were caught sleeping. who would have believed that a bunch of feminist/gun control fanatics could have scored such a coup so quickly?

The United Nations disarmament agenda of privately own firearms was instrumental, along with anti-gun feminist organization in stripping Canadians of the right to own firearms. It is now a priviege to have a gun. If we need to defend ourselves, too bad, call 911....and die!

My American friends, it's probably too late for us. We were not vigil enough. We didn't care enough. Or maybe we just thought that it couldn't happen to us.

WELL IT DID! Now don't let it happen to YOU! If you love your freedom, take a good look to the north and remember what you see. A once proud nation hobbled by deceit, lies, corruption in government, socialist re-engineers and political correctness.

Oh, Kanada, my heart weeps for thee.

May your brave boys overseas all come safely home God bless America , God help us.
