Does anyone know who makes a holster for the S&W 329? I would prefer a field or hunting type holster.

Sandpig August 8, 2008, 09:02 PM I never under stand why holster companys never jump on the new gun models. They would make a fortune!!!! I can not find a holster either. Bummer!!!!:banghead::cuss::( Sandpig August 9, 2008, 07:46 PM I just ordered a holster from Grizzly Tuff. Look at www.grizzlytuff.com I will write a review when I get it.;) pinkymingeo August 9, 2008, 08:29 PM It's a 4" N-frame full-lug S&W. I'm not sure there's a major manufacturer that doesn't make a holster for it. Turk August 9, 2008, 09:48 PM I personally like flap holsters for woods and hunting carry. The following company makes a great holster in Webly style http://www.ourbanditleather.com/id103.html The top holster on the web site was the one made for my 1917 Classic but also it fits my 57 and 629. I plan to have one made for my new 329 PD for the 4" barrel. Turk altitude_19 August 10, 2008, 12:00 AM Dunno if you'd call it a hunting/field holster, but I've been thrilled with my Kramer paddle holster. I pack a 325 4" barrel, so the overall dimensions should be about identical. It's passive retention and rides like a DREAM. Drop me a line if it seems like something you're interested in and I'll tell you all about it. Sandpig September 20, 2008, 03:00 PM I just got my Grizzly holster in Camo for my Model 329 with Night Sights. Wow!!! It is made perfect and of high quality. ;) The only negative is it take approximately a month to get it from Alaska. I recommend this company for this type of hunting holster for the model 329.:)
