New to the forum, but plan to be here for the long haul. I know they aren't both revolvers, but what the heck. New last week to our family. My GP100 (4") and her Bersa 380. Shot mine already and the Bersa gets it's first run this week.

If you look closely at the cylinder on my Ruger you can see some burn marks from firing it at the range. I got them out for the most part after a good cleaning, but I can still notice them. Any advice for preventing them or what solvent/cleaner to use that gets that stuff off the best? Thanks all!

Welcome to THR
Lead-away cloths found at good firearms establishments and online.
I usually just leave the rings there, way to lazy to clean them off just to make them again.

DO NOT USE LEAD AWAY CLOTHS ON BLUED GUNS.

I'm sure I'll give up soon enough. I'm just picky that way especially since it's my brand new gun. Kinda like my car. At one point I obsessed about cleaning it, now it's almost 7yrs old and I just give it a quick once over every now and then. I'll look into those cloths though.
