We have it all over Northern Va. 5 to 7 bucks for a pack of 20, problem is it is usually in a brown waxpaper wrapper and no idea what's inside. This weekend my son and I went through 3 packs and the recoil was so light it must have been 147 grain bullets. Two weekends ago I shot some stuff that kicked like a mule and I'm guessing it was 180 grain. Next gun show I'm gonna stock up on a tin or two... Now about that polish stuff... I do have a pack that when opened I found it had a steel case and some sort of different colored tip... any ideas?

Good ammo!!
If your getting it for less then $.13 a round JUMP on it!!!!
Hell whats the price.and for how much?
Mil Surp x54r is getting tougher to find. You can buy it all
day long at high prices, but the days of $.08 a round are
gone for good I think.

I can't find anything with a colored bullet for Poland. What are the numbers on at the base of the shell and how are they orientated (are the numbers/letters facing the same way or are they upside-down to each other?)?

sefus, I've had 3000+ rounds of 7.62x54R listed IN EASTERN WA for $0.15/round for at least two weeks. Come get it!

Actually only got about 440 rounds left now, but it's good Hungarian stuff. Sorry about the thread hijack.

np on the hijack. most of the other responses had nothing to do with the original question anyway. :scrutiny:

but what i want to know is if anybody here has used Polish heavy ball from the 1950's.

yes, polish heavy ball, lead core.
