The Mitchell Arms M16 copy was called the M16A3/22LR. They also made a CAR/M4 copy called the M16A3CAR. The AP-74 was manufactured in Italy and imported by Mitchell.

ARMSCOR (http://www.armscor.com.ph/autorifle.htm) still makes a copy like the Mitchell M16. They are manufactured in the Phillippines.

From what I remember, the Mitchell .22LR line didn't have a very good reputation for reliability.
