OK, I've searched everywhere locally and cannot find any shops who sell percussion caps! This includes, Gander Mounthim; Academy; etc. Anyone know any where online, excluding Cabela's, who sells #10 and #11 percussion caps??? Thanks for all responses.:

One of our brothers here in the Black Powder lodge refered me to "Track of the Wolf". Best dang BP website I have visited. Give it a shot (pun intended!).

Track of the Wolf sells caps in the store only.

Try Dixie Gun Works: http://www.dixiegunworks.com/advanced_search_result.php?s=1&keywords=percussion+cap

Dixie has them but they are a lot more expensive then buying locally. I was surprised when I went to Sportsman Warehouse and found RWS Musket caps for $7.00. This is a lot cheaper then Dixie's $12.25 and Dixie adds shipping and hazmat on top of that. So buy a lot of all the caps you need so it goes under one hazmat and the shipping isn't so bad then.

I just did a search for percussion caps and came up with gamiliel. They seem to have the best price. Here is a link:

Type in "percussion caps" at http://www.rrarms.com/ if the following search page doesn't work:

Sorry, I did not know that Track of the Wolf does not ship caps. I just ordered other stuff from them. Thanks for the heads-up.

The problem with Dixie is that they will ship whatever brand is on hand. If you specify Remington and they are out you will receive CCIs. I do not care for that policy

I think I should mention this. I have read that a lot of reinactors do not allow the use of CCI Musket caps. The reason being is they explode and send sharp bits of brass flying like shrapnel. The account I read had one guy get a bit of brass cut into his face right below his eye. So in the group I was reading about they only allow RWS musket caps. Something to think about if you are shooting musket caps. And I have converted all my rifles to shoot musket caps.

Yes please use RWS with all types of caps. Less misfires and break clean of nipples for round short barrel guys (revolvers).
