I have recently purchased a Rossi .357mag at a gun show and was looking for some input on these guns. I know it's not a s&w, but I shot it this past weekend and it seemed like a decent little pistol. Just wanted to see what the general concensus was.

I just bought a Rossi Model 851 4" barrel in .38 One of the nicest guns I have gotten recently. They are almost a duplication of S & W with some parts being interchangeable.

I've owned six, still have two revolvers. They're find, serviceable guns, decent accuracy, a little stiff in DA usually, but usable. They seem to hold up well, too. If I needed one, I'd buy another. I currently have a stainless .22 M511 Sportsman kit gun and a .38 3" five shot old M68. Traded my M971, sold a M88, and had a M511 stolen which I replaced with the one I have now, liked it so much.

I like mine, I'm just now getting into hand guns. I've always liked shooting, just couldn't afford it til recently. As I look around and find out more about the different types of handguns, I'm sure I'll get more. Thanks for the opinions! I paid 250.00 for my rossi. I saw list as 3 something.
