I friend of mine has an Enfield 3 Band rifle, he had bought it years ago for doing Civil War re-enactments and is looking to sell it.

The problem is determining what it is worth. I have tried a couple of the online gun auctions houses and cannnot find enough of these to get a good idea on value.

Any idea what it is worth?

I am just trying to help him out.

Depending upon condition $500.00 to $350.00. Add $80.00 if he has the bayonet and scabbard/frog.

Original or import. If the former, what condition and are there any papers that go with it? If the latter, it depends on any work he has done. Corrected period barrel bands? Importer markings removed? Barrel ever relined?

I am unsure about the maker of the gun. Knowing whose gun it is I will assume it is an original. He has accutrements to include with the deal.
