I have a .177 Red Ryder. That's kind of close.

I have the bolt action version. Not too bad a little rifle for what it is.

Never understood why Daisy made the little square magazine so similiar to Rugers 10-22 mag but not interchangable.

i agree with that. finding new mags for it were a hassle and then we always had to trim some of it so it would even fit in the mag well

We've got some sort of Daisy caseless .22 rifle that I've never figured out really. I've shot it maybe two times and decided it's about worthless seeing as how ammo is impossible to find! It sits in its box...

I've got a bolt Daisy .22LR. Looks like a BB gun. :)

I have one. Bought it for $50 from the store I work in. The thing was beat up on the reciever from being in countless cases. It's a synthetic stock but has 2202 on the reciever. Seems like every description I've seen had the 2202 as teh wood and the 2201 as the synth, but I haven't dug too deep.
The only problem I have is how short the stock is, even with the extension full out. Oh, and I only have one mag. I was thinking about how to convert a 1022 mag over. It looks like it'd fit except for the 1022's pin on the front.

As far as shooting it, it's freaking great. It's a great youth gun. Never pull the bolt apart though. That retaining wire is hard to get back in. God forbid if you break or lose it.
