I am at blame again it seems. *grin*
I tried to tell them, but would the parents listen to me? Noooo.
So being the Southern Gentlemen I am, - I cheat.
Two really neat kids, one girl and one boy and I show them a Model 10 and Model 64.
We also "just happened to have" *ahem* Speer Plastic Training Bullets.
Hook. Line. Sinker.
"Listen us kids have to stick together you know?" I shared.
"Yes we do! We really really like these guns and these plastic bullets are so great to learn on!" kids shared.
"It will be getting colder, and these work indoors, and you two have the perfect place to shoot indoors in the winter"
"Really?"
"Why yes we do!"
Information Technology is great!
Get pictures of a Model 10 snubby, Model 64 3" and print them in color, using mom and dad's printer.
Email Gun guy with "order these guns for these kid's parents, get Speer Plastic Bullets, and primers and ..."
Parents ask what kiddo want for holidays, Present pictures of guns, Gun guy's email address.
Parents gets a phone call, get guns, already checked out, and ready to roll.
Lesson on how these Speer Plastic Bullets work...parents shoot these out back of Gun guy's place...
They too went nuts!
Weather tuned cold, wet, nasty, and we have a family shooting indoors with Speer Plastic Training Bullets and mom and dad going "when is it going to be our turn?"
"Mom, dad, Steve is the Adopted Uncle they warn folks about."
"Yes, we know that, we will choke him later, now when is it going to be our turnnnnn?"
