This topic has been discussed before, but here's yet another example:

I haven't seen anyone use a bow and arrow offensively in a long time, but, of course, you use what you have.

RAMBO !

Seriously though, guns are only one form of deadly weapons. And a relatively new form too boot. Wait'll we face "sling control"! Actually, as I recall, simple blowguns have been outlawed in California for years!

if the can they will outlaw gun ownership, it is not a stretch of the imagination to see that posessing a stick or a rock would soon be illegal too.

If guns are made illegal in the USA, it will only make millions of law-abiding citizens guilty of breaking the law.

Which is exactly what they want.

The people in charge want to have something to hold over everybody.

If guns aren't available,
Guns will always.be available.
Possibly illegal and not up to S&W standards, but still available.

As a young teenager I made Zip guns.
With just the tools in many handyman's shop a pretty decent machine gun can be made in a few days, so you can imagine what can be made in well equipped little machine shop. (it's a lot easier to make a machine gun than a bolt action)

Years ago I saw a picture of a machine gun that was made in jail.

Prisons are a good example of a place under total surveillance yet inmates still improvise shanks out of practically anything.

Worse case scenario, we are all armed to the teeth with arms and teeth.

Fella's;

I know for a fact that in Eastern Europe, during the "Iron Curtain" days of an extremely repressive totalitarian regieme, that a huge number of privately owned firearms were hidden. Estonians referred to the occasional checkup and maintenance as: "Oiling the garden".
