It took me quite a while to re-find this site. It contains some valuable information that would be of interest to nearly anyone into BP shooting.
See especially the test on corrosion prevention and the "lubes" that prevent it the best. www.ctmuzzleloaders.com/ctml_experiments.html

Neat website. I've added to my list for further reading.

Jimbrto/Pancho--Both of these site's are par excellent. I have placed both of them on my 'favorites' list and will be reading both of them quite a bit for the next 5 years for sure and will probably be referring back to them for a lot longer than that. (seriously)...Okay...

Pattagussett Muzzle Loaders LLC , the home club of CTMuzzleLoaders.com was the muzzle loading club that I belonged to for many years before its recent demise.
It was located in the town next to Deep River, CT, the original home of CVA, a.k.a. CT Valley Arms.
Now it has gone the way of the CVA sidelocks, gone but not forgotten.
But now Traditions Firearms is located nearby, so somehow out of the ashes rose a Phoenix! :)

Arcticap, I understand that Traditions make a fine inline, magna-ported with a fluted barrel and all. .45 caliber to, my favorite......
