That's a simunition impact. Paintball hits look similar, only larger. They typically make a ringworm-like bruise.

I always thoought Simunition was like a paintball on steroids....shaped like a real bullet and fired from your regular gun, but obviously with a lot less death and mayhem involved????

Yeah, it's a conversion kit (barrel and maybe a slide) that goes on a pistol. I had an SW model 19...I think the 'bullet' itself is a saboted soap pellet. Not that much noise, sounds like those sperm looking firecrackers you buy at the Chinese supermarket. You can still put an eye out with them so we wore paintball masks, neck protection and (most importantly) a cup.

I was wearing my arctic operations Smartwool gloves...actually I was holding a cell phone and wasn't supposed to get shot... :D

I'm with GRD, where does one aquire Sims?

Can I buy uppers for my Glock 17's? I've seen the complete guns in the Glock annual but they were labeled for LE only.

Where can I get ammo?
