Here is a test of the sharpness of your eye. Look closely, it might be difficult if you don't keep a close scrutinizing eye on what you are looking at. Here is a picture of two bullets, side-by-side. One of them is a 6.5mm one of them is not? Before reading further, take a look at the picture and test your skills...

Can you identify which one is the 6.5mm bullet? If you can, you're better than Speer!! :D:what:

I was picking out random bullets out of my box of .264 caliber 140g HotCor's and measuring them base to tip to get an average for the box. So I could use this "average length bullet" as my basis for measuring an OAL. And at one point I reached in and pulled out a heavy feeling bullet. I looked at it stunned and started to laugh. That's no .264 caliber, but a .358!

Any possibality the box was opened on the store shelf and got played with?

Nope. This box was still sealed when I brought it home. Someone at the factory must have made a simple mix up. :)

It just caught me by surprise and I got a kick out of it. It made me appreciate how big a .358 is! That would punch a nice sized hole in most things. :)
