Anybody know a good place to find a nice green laser and flashlight for use on an ar-15? i see green laser sights going anywhere from 50 (ebay probably a piece of crap) to 500 dollars in brownells. id like to know what im paying for, if there is indeed any difference. plus i want a REALLY bright flashlight, i dont care if its a little bigger.
also looking for opinions on a good set of quad rail handguards for a carbine, i find tons and tons of these for around 130 bucks, but dont know what makes one better than the other.
Thanks for any input.

The green lasers on Ebay from China are excellent. Read the sellers feedback from the ones who have bought them. All of the feedback is positive.

also looking for opinions on a good set of quad rail handguards for a carbine,
I have a set of the Surefire M73 HGs on my CQ AR. They are well made but added some weight. I don't know what your needs are but I think I can keep the weight down and get all the rail I need from add-on rail options like front sight, bayonet lug, or thru handguard. The quad rails gave me a bunch of rail where I didn't need it or want it (have to add rail covers to keep from tearing up hands or gloves) and not enough rail in the right place on carbine length.
My 20" rifle is soon to wear YHM 5005s smooth round free-float handguards with some short rail sections up front. YHM also makes customizable rail options for smooth handguards.
So many options. Look at them all. get opionions. When you're sure you know what you want then buy it, and in 2 months it will be part of a growing pile of leftover replaced parts that you'll eventually sell anyway. Welcome to the leggo world of AR options.

LaserMax's Uni-Max green looks like a good option.
It's a rail mounted laser with a rail of its own to stack on a weapon light, etc.

I've got two LaserMax guide rod lasers in two Glocks, that have performed well over thousands of rounds, so I give the brand a thumbs up!
