Got bored tonight and shot some pics... no I don't have a light box or a good camera. Thought some of these turned out all right though. What do you think?

Nice pics.

No light box no problem. I used to do commercial photography, white foam core makes AWESOME reflectors. Not sure if you used film or digital, if digital, try adjusting your white balance for the non flash pics (or use software like photoshop). I use a dSLR for my family camera these days. Shooting RAW and post processing can make a HUGE difference in the quality of your pics.

OK enough of the photography tips. Nice handguns. I now want to get some "sexy" shots of the gun I came here to get info on.

Thanks for the tips, doc... I was just using a canon powershot. Indoor lighting was..... inadequate as you can see. I wanted to post the raw images and not mess with them in photoshop, but you can see that the light looks quite yellow without the flash. I suppose that could be dialed down also.

Yep the yellow is from the white balance adjustment. Incandescent lights have a color temp of about 3200K which gives off a yellow look (flourscents tend toward a green light). A quick easy setup if the weather cooperates is to go outside with a white bedsheet overhead as a canopy. Make sure there is no direct sunlight on the subject, but the bedsheet will act as a huge lightbox.

If I'd gone outside yesterday my guns would have been covered by a foot of new snow. :D Good idea, though.

That one on the top is without a doubt the most beautiful revolver I have ever laid eyes on. Nice work.

Thank you. I wish I knew who did it. My father gave me that mod. 15 and apparently it's never been fired. I know I've never shot it. I'm thinking about doing so...

Here are some crappier pics of it I snapped a while ago
