I have some a couple I know from a non-firearm email list who have inherited a nice handgun collection They are non-firearm types and
hnave taken pics - side view + of each I told them to buy a
vault. Roughly it consists of
Walther P-38
Luger P-08
Webley Mi ? short barrel ( bulldog?)
Radom 9MM
Colt Commander Cal.? it has wood checkered grips
with a quarter sized Standing Colt in below the upper grip screw.
I've not seen that pattern grips before .
Beretta Tomcat .25ACP ?
Euro .380 ACP Czech ? looks cheap with white grips
Flattop Ruger old style

DOn't we all just wish.... I'm waiting for their reply to post
the link to the pics.

Does anyone know of a bonded or professional firearms appraiser
in the North Puget Sound - Wash. State area?

I have the link - how did I do in I'D'ing these no none are for sale,
and good for this couple who aren't gun types, but
the husband's father passed at age 64 and never talked to
them about the collection.

I informed them about some laws in Wash. State as well as advising them
to get a Gun safe, update the homeowners policy, and take a
basic firearms class for starters. THe wife and husband both are curious as
to the history, etc of this nice collection

I think an expert Appraiser with some knowledge of proper proof marks for the luger, P-38 and Radom with a written appraisal would be good
knowledge and proof for the Insurance company.
