More of the same baloney.

*Sigh*

I'll keep my eye on it. Don't our elected leaders have anything better to do?

Unfortunately they do not have better things to do. I am sure they are avoiding real issues such as the ever increasing cost of living in this state, the fact that Chicagolands roads are terrible, the corruption that seems to govern our little state, or anything of that nature.

With the law makers in Daleyland it sure worries me that two of your fine examples are trying to be President.

We get the same "stuf" thrown at us every year so I am pretty much used to it. That doesn't mean that I like it, it just makes me more determined to work to change things in this state. I really think things will get better in Illinois because a lot of people are getting fed up with this and becoming more active.
Change will not come easy, we will have to work at it. I will be at IGOLD again this year and every year until things do get better. This will be my third time to Springfield. The first time was about five years ago and IIRC there were about 200 people there. Last year there was 1500+ there and hopefully we will double that number this year. I had 30 flyers printed up for IGOLD and put them up every where I go that has any type of bulletin board. I am now putting out my second bunch of 30 I had printed after running out. This is also rewarding at times also, I asked the owner of a local auto parts store if I could post a flyer at his shop. He hung it up himself and thanked me and shook my hand.
We have a primary race for States Attorney, I contacted each of them with questions about 2A issues and local situations they would be involved in. After evaulating their answers I contacted the one whose views best matched my own and offered to work for his campaign. So I now have a yard sign and I spent today passing out flyers.
This state will get better but the change won't come easy, Jim.
