anyone made a front rest for targeting guns?

Was wondering if there was any way to make a good front mechanical type rest without buying one, prices arent too high but would just rather make it myself. I have a good rarbag and just wanna make a good heavy sturdy adjustable front rest. any suggestions.

Bolt a light car scissor jack to a plywood base or 2X12 and use a small leather or nylon front rest on top of the jack. You might find a jack in a junker free and the small front rest is cheap.
Probably a lot easier to buy one.
