Went by the local Gander Mtn in Huntsville, Al today and they were having an additional 10% off of ammo. Picked up some 9mm and 10mm. Might go back tommarrow and get some 7.62x39 and .223.
It always helps that they price match plus the 10%!!!

Ironic, since they jacked up x39 from $4.99 to $6.99 last month.

Maybe they're catching on that their prices are through the roof?

Around here all I can afford is to go in gander mountain and look. I was just in there last night and they had a Ruger Alaskan for $979. I thought wow I was just seeing these for $679. What was really the kicker for me was the Rock Island Armory tactical they had for $699. I am going to stop going in there because it is getting embarrassing just looking around :) One of the sales guys has always mentioned you never ask to see anything you always just look. I do not want to tell him well just right down the street buddy there is a shop that has been in the community for over 30 years. And just a couple of months ago I got a brand new RIA Tactical for $349 from them brand new and the guy through in 2 extra mags because it only came with one.
