I'm thinking about ordering on from Centerfire? Anybody have any experince with these pistols. I've seen a few mixed reviews and the one I saw at a recent gun show was a little beat-up.
Thanks,
tjg

My dad bought one several years ago. Was nearly mint. It did fine with ball ammo and similarly profiled hp. One thing you have to be care about: when putting the gun on safe, do not let the hammer fall. Use the safety lever, but guide the hammer down with the thumb. My dad let his snap down about 10 times before the safety broke. Had a round been in the chamber, it would have fired (I know a LEO who shot his brother like this). Easily fixed, but now the finish doesn't match. There are some nice specimens still around, so look carefully.

I bought one from AIM Surplus a couple years ago. It had a very minor amount of blue wear and came with a flap holster and two magazines.
I planned to shoot it a bit so bought 1,000 rounds of RWS FMJ .32 ACP ammo from AIM.
I haven't used the holster, but I had the gun out at the range last week. I shot the tigers from the THR Mail-In Match with it. I find I shoot the Manurhin a little better than my Smith M649 even though I shoot the revolver more often.
My only real complaint is that the PP bites the hand that feeds it. It doesn't bother my 11 year-old son at all but the hammer hits the web of my hand.

Bought one a couple of months ago from Centerfire. Except for a little wear on the muzzle it looks almost new. Puts my CZ50 to shame in every category you can think of. After my EG Makarov and Systema it's my favorite C&R semi-auto.

Of course, it wouldn't be a Walther PP pattern gun if it didn't.
Besides the scars add character :neener:
I think either American adult males as a rule have fat hands or our firing grip is too high, spoiled by guns such as 1911s with beavertail grip safeties.
