Its my understanding it is a complete Veterans Service Organization.

They have chapters in 15 States and growing. They will be holding National Convention in South Carolina this July.

Even though I'm eligible I think I'll stick with the VFW. My question though would be why this startup organization decided they could do a better job than the VFW.

There is not a list of who sits on the Board of Directors. I couldn't find the by laws or the list of legislation that is supported or opposed.

Interesting. Perhaps this will provide a viable alternative (and addition to the American Legion) to Vets who were stationed state-side (MPs and such) for the last two conflicts who do not meet the foreign service VFW requirements.
