Ok, I see how to field-strip the pistol. But how does the barrel come out? All the net pages that show how won't load in this POS web tv because they use PDF and Adobe. Anyone can explain it to me? Thanks!

With the slide and bbl assembly off the frame, turn it upside down so you can see the spring and bbl from the underside. There will be a horozontal notch between the roller bearing on the bbl itself. You need to pull that down about halfway forward in the slide. The bearing will unlock and move with the bbl. If you look closely at the inside of the slide rails on the slide, there will be cutouts in the rails where the assembly can be removed from the slide. Pull the bbl assembly forward until you reach this point and then pull it out of the slide.

Those may be the worst instructions in the world but I think you will see what I mean if you look at the inside rails of the slide. The trick is getting something that is stronger than your fingernail to push the bbl and recoil spring far enough forward to let it clear the cut outs.

If that doesn't help, just post again and I will try to be more clear.

You can use the front of the floorplate of a magazine to fit the notch and pull the barrel forward. That's why so many of the mags have bent floorplates.

I generally stick a phillips screwdriver in the hole instead of using the notch. It lets you pull the barrel forward and control it as you lever the back upwards when the rollers clear.

In case no one has told you, don't dryfire the pistol. The firing pins, while quite durable in normal use, won't stand up to even a small amount of dryfiring.

I think its better to grind off the corners of a cheap screwdriver than use a mag.Youll notice that the area is not straight across.
