I've got a P11 and I luv it but I am curious about how many rounds people have put thru their P-11's without something in the pistol breaking or warping?
I've fired 750 rds and it still functions like new.

tele,
Got about the same through mine, and I have it apart all the time and can't see any signs of wear. More importantly, if you manage to break it Kel-Tec will fix it free. Why worry.

I believe that there are several guys on Ktog.org that have 5000+ rounds through their P11.
Hope this helps.

I've read of some with 10,000+ a few times.

This is a little vague, but approximately 4 years ago I spoke with someone at Keltec about this and his reply was that Keltec considers the P11 to be a 10,000 shot gun.

Even if it is (only) a 10,000 round gun, there's nothing about the gun that can't be replaced, by the owner, cheaply, if something breaks. (You may have to send the aluminum frame back to Kel-Tec for replacement, if it ever goes -- but everything else can be sent to you...)
I had a P-11 and carried it for a couple of years.
I also had a Glock 17, newly refurbished by the factory.
My 17 broke twice (little springs. My P-11 never broke. I shot them about the same number of rounds.
I greatly preferred shooting the Glock, but it was not my carry gun.

I sold my P-11 with a little over 12,000 rds thru it about 6 months ago, last I heard it was still going strong. I used to take great pride in just how much abuse I could put it thru.

I have about 9,000 through mine (maybe more,I don`t count anymore) with 0 breakage,no signs of wear or increased looseness. It still shoots just as good as it ever did and is 100% reliable. If they all hold up as well as mine they`re probably more like a 50,000rd gun. Marcus

Like stevesmith7 says, KT will rebuild it to new specs if you send it in, but he also asked "Why worry?"
If its your CCW, I'd send it in if I became concerned that it was getting a little long in the tooth. Springs of any age can fail suddenly, but old ones are more likely to break (hmmm.... that's just like me!).
If you just use it for plinking or at the range where a failure of a spring or something doesn't matter, run it into the ground, then send it in.

Ya, but for some reason you guys are not mentioning that if something DOES break when TSHTF then there are serious problems. No big deal if something breaks at the gun range.

If something breaks on your Glock/Sig/HK/etc when TSHTF there's going to be problems. The only FTF's I had with my P-11 was 4 with Winchester whitebox, and 6 with S&B. All do to hard primers and all fired with a second strike. That's 10 out of 12,000, so I wasn't real worried. And for whatever reason, mine wouldn't feed Corbons very well, so I carried Gold Dot +p+, no biggie. I've heard of people having problems with their P-11's, but I can only go on my experience with the 3 I've played with. Not pretty guns, but there when you need them.

I quit counting after my 3rd case of ammo. The only problem I've ever had was with S&B ammo. I have not noticed any more wear on the little gun than I had after my first couple of hundred rounds.
Carry ammo is Gold Dots and I've put a little over a case of that through my P11. I'm quite sure it will do its job if I do mine.
