Anybody know about the availability for the older Beretta 92? I'm not really excited about the newer ones and this one guy said that they don't make the older ones anymore.

local gunshop dealer/owner told me the same thing last summer. beretta not making 92's any more, just the 90-2 or whatever that ugly replacement is called. I couldn't believe it but he ought to know. I really want a Vertec 92 and haven't seen any locally.

i hate too say it..... but Cabelas has a few in there cases here. not bad prices
but i dont really like the company. if only i had a local with better selections?!?!? anyone wanna open a shop???? they are not that hard to come by.

I am certain that you will be able to find a used one (at a cheaper price) with no problem. If you have to buy new, your probably going to have a much harder time since they haven't produced the "old" one for a year or two now.
