I've been thinking about picking up one of these for my XD .45 Tactical, has anyone shot a pistol with a red dot sight? What was your impression?

A Winchester 22 and a Ruger 22 Mark III.

I use Red Dot sights on everything from 22 pistols to 12 ga shotguns.

It's just a simple concept. Look through the sight. Put the Red Dot on where you want to hit and hit it.

I've got a number of brands but not a Burris.

It's an especially good sighting system when the iron sights are getting fuzzy.
