anyone have experience with this supposedly 'super' finish? appearance and durability? application?

It has a hells list of toxic chemicals Mek, Dibasic Lead Phosphite, Methyl Isobutyl Ketone, Formaldehyde, Toluene, Xylene.

The lead bothers me the most. That version is highly bioavailable so if it gets sanded or stripped without caution later in the firearms life it could cause someone serious issues. Worse if a young child is exposed.
You might try and egg wash and french polish

Yea it's normally for guitars but I've seen a few rifles done using it. They're incredible.

I've used it. It looks pretty good, is reasonably durable, and is easy.
