$340 for a pistol permit??? Thats some major bull****, one of the big reasons I got my CCW here in michigan is so I wouldn't have to pay the $5 fee my LE center charges for notorization.

Makes me appreciate living in Maine. Maine is a shall issue state in regards to CCW permits.

All I had to show was my DD214 and wait for the Town Selectmen to sign it at the monthly meeting. The whole process took about 10 days. It could have taken about 30 at the most.

Up here there is no need for a permission slip to purchase firearms either.

Ponder the idea that the same people who grew up there and have been complicit in this BS legislation are disseminating all across the country and bringing their programming with them. And, they're voting in our districts now.

This is why you need to vote and encourage your friends to vote. Diminish the effect of the Jersey/New York infestation of simpering transplant gun grabbers in your area.

NC has a HUGE infestation of NY/NJ transplants and it's beginning to effect our local and state laws.

Well, the town of Cary has been lovingly renamed to the Containment Area for Relocated Yankees.

The western mountains, piedmont, and coastal areas are all being encroached.

I'm only half kidding about being xenophobic with regard to them. Compared to NY and NJ, land here is a bargain and it's somewhat still full of rural areas.

The issue I have is that they're voting on the same hysterical ideas they were taught up north. NC's laws are already bad enough.

I sat in waffle house one day after deer hunting and listened to an old guy from Jersey saying over and over to his buddy that they had "gotten those good ole' boys out of there." after a Sheriff of 20 years had been voted out of office. Now, we have Sheriffs who drag their feet for 80+ of the 90 days they have to issue a carry permit. Before that, it was just a couple of weeks.
