Looking for a Shotgun

I am wanting to get a lighter recoil or gas gun for birds, rabbits, deer, etc (Ohio Valley hunting area). No ducks or geese. 12 guage. Want to shoot 2 3/4" and possible 3". Also want the option of screw in chokes.
Remingtons are to heavy. Not a mossberg fan. Don't want to pay the benelli price.
Choices and options?

Look for something used----if you want new, you're gonna have to pay to play.
Looked over a Mossberg 20ga auto (new) a couple weeks back that was actually quite nice----and I'm not a Mossberg fan at all----probably what you're looking for at $400.

Browning Gold. You can probably find a good price on a used. I have one that I think is great. Much lighter than the old A-5 and the gas operation does take the recoil down quite a bit in comparison to the A-5 or especially a double barrel or pump.

Winchester X-2s are also worth a look.

Beretta 3901 American. The US made version of the old Beretta 390. Pricing is similar to the Rem 1100/11-87 and it's a way better shotgun than the Remmie IMHO.
