Already posted these over at m1911.org. Picked her up yesterday, and gave her a good cleaning this morning.

Can't wait to try her out

Now take a pic from the other side and a pic from the rear so that we can see how the slide to frame fit is. The Anti-Kimber guys are sure to swoop in and tell you how awful that fit MUST be whether it is or not.

I have almost the same gun, Kimber Series I. I purchased it in 98 and
I have changed the grips and screws but the rest is bone stock.
You will love that gun and it will embarass most anything else at the
range.

My Pastor has a stainless II just like that. It is deadly accurate, great choice!

Yeah, and to think I about didn't buy one because of all the naysayers. Numerous posts here and on the m1911.org forum showed me the light though.

Wow I like those grips on yours. Accents the stainless really nicely. What are those?

I'll give you guys a range report as soon as I get out there. Buddy of mine's getting an AK with his tax return here in a couple of weeks, so a trip out to the range will be in order.

Nice! I dig the "plain" look of the Stainless II, SA Milspec, et al.

Excellent choice. Keep it clean, and well lubed, and it will run like the energizer bunny:D
